Gerwen: Vincent van Gogh drew the St. Clemens Church in Gerwen in December 1883. The church dates from around 1450. The lower section, the north transept and the foundations of the tower are from an earlier building. The church became Protestant in 1648 but was restored to the Roman Catholics in 1798. Restoration was completed in 1983. The church is now owned by the Pius X Foundation and is a listed building.
