Gerwen: Vincent van Gogh drew the St. Clemens Church in Gerwen in December 1883. The construction of this church dates from about 1450. The lower part, the north transept and the base of the tower come from an older building. In the seventeenth century the church was used by Protestants but later became Roman Catholic again. A complete restoration was completed in 1993.
The church is now owned by the Pius X Foundation and is a national monument.
