Tour of Van Gogh locations
The Yellow House has a great deal of knowledge about locations in Princenhage and Breda that played a role in the lives of the Van Gogh family. Think of the cemetery of Vincent van Gogh's grandparents, Uncle Cent's house and the tree that was supposedly planted by Vincent and his brother Theo. This tree is on Esserstraat 77, near Huize Mertersem. The Yellow House hosts a walk through Princenhage every second Saturday of the month visiting these locations. The Yellow House is home to a store selling various Van Gogh-related items, including the Van Gogh Bicycle Route. The location is a great starting point to follow the Van Gogh route in Breda and the surrounding area (Etten-Leur and Zundert). The Breda route starts on the Haagsemarkt, where Het Gele Huis is also located.
