Big compliment to all the staff of our museum Vincentre

At the signing of the loan for the expansion of Vincentre, Delegate Stijn Smeulders (Culture, Sports, Leisure and Heritage) gives a big compliment to all employees of our museum Vincentre. We can be proud of that.

In addition to the good (financial) cooperation with governments, institutions and companies, he indicated in particular that the daily energy of 160 volunteers in Nuenen made such a great tribute to Van Gogh possible.

Vincentre opened in 2010 and receives 20,000 visitors annually from home and abroad. In recent years, the capacity of the current museum proved too small to keep up with the growth in visitors. Next to the museum, the expansion will come in the form of an expressive and contemporary version of a long-roofed farmhouse.
