VVV Nuenen, Gerwen and Nederwetten is housed in Van Gogh Village Museum. You can go here for route maps, for cycling or walking, in the area for example along the Dommel, or the Van Gogh bicycle route.
Nuenen presents the unique situation of having both an exhibition on Vincent van Gogh and the outdoor museum with the many locations he painted or drew during his stay in Nuenen. The combination of the exhibits in the museum and the open-air museum explains the name Van Gogh Village.
In the museum you will hear the stories about him and read his stories about Nuenen. You'll also learn more about the family Van Gogh. We get to know Vincent van Gogh as a human being. We see through the landscapes room, his fascination with weavers and his exploration of light and color in Vincents Lichtlab, his development into a world-famous painter, resulting in his first masterpiece, The Potato Eaters.
In the museum shop, in addition to various hiking and biking maps, you can buy beautiful gadgets and souvenirs.
