Van Gogh's sunflowers look alive

On Sunday, Feb. 2 at 4 p.m., artist Wouter van Riessen will give a lecture on his series "Sunflowers in a Vase." This is a series of now 35 paintings, some of which are currently on display in the museum's temporary exhibition. The series is based on different versions of sunflowers that Vincent van Gogh painted in 1888 and 1889. There is something special about those canvases: they are flowers, yet they are not....

Admission to the lecture is free in conjunction with a museum visit. You can also use the Museum Card.

Please note! The museum will be closed after the lecture; however, the coffee corner will still be open.

Would you also like to visit the museum? Then be sure to do so prior to the lecture.

There are 50 spots available for the lecture, full=full. Register by emailing info@vgvn.nl.
