The New Vincent 2022

In the coming weeks, young people between the ages of 10 and 14 can send in their very best drawing to compete for a coveted spot at The New Vincent. This successful talent program starts in May and accommodates up to fifteen young people, who take master classes and excursions and work toward an exhibition in December.
In Tilburg, Vincents Tekenlokaal has been organizing this program since 2013. Starting this year, young people in Zundert will also have the opportunity to develop their drawing talents. There Van Gogh AiR i.c.w. the Vincent van GoghHuis takes on the organization.

Participants in The New Vincent can look forward to a creative time with a group of like-minded peers. They receive guidance from artists and drawing teachers at Vincents Tekenlokaal. And they go out to an art museum, an artist studio and an art school, where they gain inspiration and are introduced to new techniques.

Exposition
Afterwards, friends, family and other interested parties will have the opportunity to admire all the new work at an exhibition. In conclusion, one participant will be chosen as The New Vincent 2022. He or she has developed particularly well during the talent program and will receive a prize to further encourage this development.

Participate
The New Vincent is especially for boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 14 who want to develop further in drawing and painting. Entries can be submitted by April 24, 2022, or earlier. A jury will choose a maximum of 15 participants from all the entries, paying attention to creativity and individuality. The young talents will then set to work during approximately 12 meetings on Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays during the months of May through December.
