Successful fourth edition of Salon van Gogh
On March 30, the fourth edition of Salon van Gogh took place at Het Noordbrabants Musuem. On the birthday of Vincent Van Gogh, presenter Cornald Maas and his captivating table guests discussed the valuable legacy of Vincent Van Gogh for Brabant.In a full evening program, cultural and economic topics with Van Gogh as inspiration alternate in an attractive rhythm. Clean Pete provided an atmospheric musical accompaniment.In this edition, Cornald Maas and his guests went deeper into the relationship between the creative process and relationships and networks.
Charles de Mooij, director Het Noordbrabants Museum and Hans Goedkoop, historian and documentary filmmaker, discussed the upcoming exhibition Van Gogh's intimates and so-called iron age as a context for the life and work of Vincent van Gogh.Mirjam van der Lubbe, partner Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe, and Henri Swinkels, Provincial Executive member for Quality of Life and Culture of the Province of North Brabant, elaborated on the value of human interaction in the creative process.
After a brief musical interlude, Bert van de Els, Chairman Van Gogh Heritage Foundation, and Eric van Schagen, Chairman VNO-NCW Brabant-Zeeland, shared their views on creativity and perseverance in business. And the value of Vincent van Gogh as an icon for that business community. Airbnb Netherlands closed with a donation of €30,000 for the preservation of the Van Gogh heritage in Brabant.
